The vehicle thieves have become active in Waluj Mahanagar area and complaints about theft of a Hyva truck from Waluj and a tractor from Wadgaon have been registered in the police stations. Similarly, the incidents of stealing two-wheelers are on the rise in the Waluj area.

Sushilkumar Ijakrao Mane, a resident of Waluj, parked his Hyva truck (MH 20 EG 2329) in front of his house on October 4. The truck was missing next day and Mane lodged a complaint at Waluj police station in this regard. The police are checking the nearby CCTV cameras and head constable Shaikh Saleem is further investigating the case.

In another incident, Ramkisan Wamanrao Patole, a resident of Wadgaon Kolhati parked his tractor (MH 20 CR 6072) in front of his house on October 6. The thieves took away the tractor at night. The thieves have been captured in the CCTV cameras. A case has been registered at Waluj MIDC police station. API, Gautam Wavale is further investigating the case.

Similarly, a loading rickshaw (MH 20 DE 4954) of Shivaji Laxman Telange was stolen from Bajajnagar. There has been a fear among the residents about the vehicles'' thefts and hence they park their motorcycles inside the houses at night.
