International bodybuilder Jagdish Lad passed away due to coronavirus in Vadodara on Friday. Jagdish Lad was 34 years old. In his bodybuilding career, Jagdish had won the Bharat Shri title.

Jagdish Lad was kept on oxygen for four days after being infected with corona. But he could recover from the infection. Jagdish Lad i survived by his wife and a daughter.

Jagdish Lad had migrated from Navi Mubai to Vadodara a few years back. He made a fresh start in bodybuilding at Vadodara. Bodybuilder Jagdish Lad was originally from Kundal village in Sangli district. He had started his own gymnasium in Vadodara.

The sudden demise of the inspiring players, who were always smiling and enthusiastic, has come as a shock to everyone. Lad had won a silver medal in the World Championship and a Gold Medal in Mr. India.

Jagdish Lad represented Maharashtra and India in many national and international competitions.
