Pune: Woman tries to escape COVID quarantine centre, gets trapped in window grill

While corona cases have been on the rise again in Maharashtra, the cases in Pune is also increasing day by day. The Coronavirus pandemic has put a lot of strain on the municipal management.

Citizens have been urged to consistently co-operate with the administration and follow safety covid rules to avoid getting the disease. However, there have been reports of some citizens trying to escape from the quarantine centre.

An 18-year-old girl tried to escape from the quarantine centre. Photos of the incident have gone viral on social media. A young woman tried to escape from a quarantine centre in Erandwane area of ​​Pune city around 11.30 pm. She was quarantined at 2 floor and she decided to use the window and it turned out to be nightmare for her as she got stuck between the window grill.

After people in the centre came to know about the incident, they ruhed to the spot to get her out safely from the window grill but to no avail. Eventually the fire brigade had to be called.They had to cut the window grill, and set her free. This time a hydraulic cutter had to be used.

Places like quarantine centers have to be set up so that corona cases do not increase. However, as the citizens are fleeing from centres, new problems have aried for the administration.
