Mumbai Mega Block on February 23, 2025: Local Train Services To Be Affected on Western, Central and Trans-Harbour Lines on Sunday

Mega Block on Sunday, February 23, 2025:Mumbai's local train services on the Western, Central, and Transharbour lines will be affected due to a megablock on Sunday, February 23, 2025. The railways will carry out maintenance work on tracks, signaling, and overhead equipment.

On the Central line, a five-hour mega block will take place from 10:40 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. on the Up and Down fast lines between Thane and Kalyan stations. Similarly, the Transharbour line will have a block from 11:10 a.m. to 4:10 p.m. between Thane and Vashi or Nerul stations. On the Western line, services will be affected from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Up and Down fast lines between Santacruz and Goregaon stations. During this period, fast trains will run on slow lines, and some services will be canceled. There will be no mega block on the Harbour and Uran lines.

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐞 - 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐔𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐧 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟏𝟎.𝟒𝟎 𝐚𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝟑.𝟒𝟎 𝐩𝐦

Down Fast/Semi-Fast local services leaving CSMT Mumbai from 09.34 am to 03.03 pm will be diverted onDown Slow line between Thane and Kalyan stations halting at Kalva, Mumbra and Diva stations in addition to their respective halts and will arrive destination 10 minutes later than their scheduled arrival.

Up Fast/Semi-Fast services leaving Kalyan from 10.28 am to 03.40 pm will be diverted on Up Slow line between Kalyan and Thane stations halting at Diva, Mumbra and Kalva stations in addition to their respective halts and further re-diverted on Up Fast line at Mulund station and will arrive destination 10 minutes later than their scheduled arrival.

Up Trans-harbour line services from Panvel/Nerul/Vashi towards Thane leaving Vashi at 10.25 am to leaving Nerul at 04.09 pm and Down Trans-harbour line services towards Vashi/Nerul/Panvel leaving Thane from 10.35 am to 4.07 pm will remain suspended.

To carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling and overhead equipment, a Jumbo Block of five hours will be taken onUP & DOWN Fast lines between Santacruz and Goregaon stations from 10.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs on Sunday, 23rd February 2025.

During the block period, all Fast line suburban trains will be operated on Slow line between Goregaon and Santacruz stations.

Some suburban trains will remain cancelled during the block and also some of the Andheri & Borivali trains will be worked up to Goregaon on harbour line.

Passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly.
