A huge fire broke out at a factory in the Saravali MIDC area in Thane's Bhiwandi. After receiving the information, fire tenders rushed to the spot, and efforts were made to douse the blaze.
According to the information, a fire broke out at a cloth godown at Sapna Compound around 3.30 am on Tuesday morning. At the incident site, firefighters from the Bhiwandi Fire Brigade are present with 01 fire vehicle, firefighters from the Kalyan Fire Brigade are present with 01 fire vehicle and 02 jumbo water tankers, and firefighters from the Thane Fire Brigade are present with 01 high-rise fire vehicle. No one is injured at the incident site.

In a video shared by news agency ANI, it can be seen that the top floors of the building are engulfed in massive blaze, and huge clouds of black smoke are coming out from the building where the factories are situated.
"The fire broke out in a factory situated in Saravali village... The incident happened at 3:00 AM. The efforts to douse the fire are underway. Once the fire is doused, then we will be able to calculate the loss," said Bhiwandi Fire Brigade Officer Pramod Kakade.
As of now, no injuries or casualties reported yet. More details are awaited.
