Former India captain MS Dhoni has once again fueled speculation about his future in the Indian Premier League after arriving in Chennai for pre-season training. Dhoni was spotted at the airport wearing a t-shirt featuring what appeared to be a Morse code message, which fans believe translates to "ONE LAST TIME."The message has triggered widespread speculation that IPL 2025 could be Dhoni’s final season. The 42-year-old wicketkeeper-batter has previously spoken about the challenges of maintaining fitness as he continues to play at the highest level."I am not as fit as I used to be. A lot of effort now needs to go into what I eat and how I train. Playing different sports like tennis, badminton, and football helps me stay active," Dhoni said earlier this year.Dhoni, who retired from international cricket in 2020, stepped down as Chennai Super Kings captain ahead of IPL 2024, handing over the reins to Ruturaj Gaikwad. CSK, however, failed to qualify for the playoffs last season, finishing fifth in the points table.A five-time IPL champion, Dhoni is regarded as one of the league’s most successful captains. With IPL 2025 set to begin on March 22, his future in the tournament remains uncertain.
