Bollywood actress Vidya Balan started her career with the movie Parineeta, which was released 18 years ago, this movie had a strong star cast like Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan, Raima Sen and Dia Mirza along with Vidya.

The film was based on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's Bengali Kandbari. The funny thing is that for her debut movie, Vidya Balan had to give screen test 60 times.

Now after a long break, Vidya is making a comeback with Anu Menon's 'Neeyat'. In order to make this movie a hit, she is doing a lot of promotion.

At the beginning of her career, Vidya decided to try her luck in southern cinema. She also got an opportunity in the film 'Chakram' with famous south actor Mohanlal. After this film, she signed as many as 12 films. But for some reason, the shooting of 'Chakram' was delayed.

Mohanlal has acted in many films in South. No film was delayed in his career. The 'chakram' was delayed and all its khabar was smashed on Vidya's head. The producers decided Vidya's destiny.

The makers completed the film with another actor. After this film, Vidya signed 12 films.

Vidya acted in many Bengali films at that time. But with Vidya in the film, her films were not released due to the fear that the audience would not accept them.
